Biography

Edward Harrington has spent over a decade in the fashion industry.

He started as a model, working with some of the biggest brands, agencies, and photographers in the world. He lived and worked in Milan (Italy), Beijing (China), New York, Miami, Dallas, Chicago, and Los Angeles. During his time modeling he was able to build strong relationships with photographers and agents from around the globe. This allowed him to gain insight from some of the most successful people in the fashion industry. Through his mentors he learned what agents look for in a model and what traits and skills help models succeed.

Later in his modeling career, Edward toured with Cremo Company for the Cremo Road Trip. He worked closely with the Ad Agency who ran the tour, leading to him being offered a job with Antidote Advertising. With Antidote, he started on the creative team, then was added to the production team as the agency’s head photographer. This lead to him shooting international campaigns for the biggest brands in Antidote’s portfolio.

During his time with Antidote, he continue to help models get signed and start booking. This lead to him taking a job with The Industry LA on the agent side of the table. Later, working at Natural Models LA and Dragonfly LA. He excelled at connecting with his models, understanding where they were in their career, and building a plan to help them grow. He helped teach models the basics of posing for digitals and casting, as well as set up test shoots geared towards potential clients, based off of their “look”. This helped build an appealing book for clients and ultimately lead to more bookings.

While working as an agent, Edward met casting director Paul Brickman. Paul began hiring Edward to work on castings for Tom Ford, Hugo Boss, John Hardy, and others. This gave him insight on what it takes to book the biggest campaigns in the world, from the perspective of a casting director.

Currently, Edward has gone back to modeling, but he never lost his passion for helping models navigate the fashion industry and have successful careers. He now uses his extensive experience to help models understand what it takes to get signed, start booking, continue booking, and ultimately become a full time model.

Having seen the industry from almost every perspective, he is able to problem solve, develop, and mentor models at every skill level. Over the years he has helped countless models get signed and start working. He continues his passion today through teaching classes and private lessons.
